When Heidi McKenzie was 21 years old, she was involved in a car accident that left her quadriplegic.

In the years since she has never lost her positive outlook on life and has dedicated herself to helping others with disabilities. She’s now the founder of ALTER UR EGO, which designs jeans for people in wheelchairs that are both functional and fashionable so they can express their “alter-ego” through fashion while breaking down social barriers.
